Description

Terrazze dell'Etna Ciuri is a Sicilian white wine made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, grown on the northern slopes of Etna. This white wine, with an alcohol content of 13%, embodies the essence of Etna viticulture. The volcanic soil, rich in gravel, gives the wine a unique minerality. Vinification takes place with red grapes processed without skins, with the must immediately separated from the skins by gentle pressing, achieving a must yield of 50%. The wine then undergoes a batonage process on the fine lees in stainless steel for at least eight months, followed by bottle aging for at least six months. This production method gives the wine remarkable complexity and structure. Terrazze dell'Etna Ciuri is ideal with fish, shellfish, molluscs, and seafood, enhancing the flavors of the sea with its freshness and minerality. The recommended serving temperature is 10-12°C to fully appreciate its organoleptic characteristics. This wine represents a perfect blend of tradition and innovation, offering a unique sensory experience that reflects the terroir of Etna.

Terrazze dell'Etna

On the north-western slope of Mount Etna, in a natural landscape of captivating charm, lies Terrazze dell’Etna. A bucolic oasis where nature, passion, and energy blend to create wines of volcanic character. The amphitheater of terraces embraces both native and international vineyards. The company was established in 2008 thanks to the rigorous attention of the Bevilacqua family in restoring the environmental context, the recovery of the ancient vineyards, the wine presses, the stone terraces, a testament to the history of the place. Today it spans an area of about 40 hectares producing 11 types of wines. From the protection of the natural environment, the recovery of the centuries-old traditions of the territory, the use of modern technologies, our wine is born, whose strong personality tells of a sunny Sicily, rich in tradition and passion. Cultivating, observing, slowing down, the moments in the vineyard are marked by an extraordinarily lively wait. A story made of grapes and passion, of harmonies and roughness!
