Description

Flavia Rebellious Taillè Terre Siciliane IGP is a Sicilian red wine that embodies the essence of the island's winemaking tradition. Made from 50% Frappato and 50% Perricone , this wine hails from the historic town of Marsala, located in the wine region of Sicily, Italy. With an alcohol content of 13%, Flavia Rebellious Taillè is an organic and artisanal wine, produced using methods that respect both the environment and tradition. The calcareous soil on which the vines grow gives the wine a distinctive minerality. Vinification involves gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 20°-22°C for 30 days. Malolactic fermentation is complete, contributing to a smoother and more rounded wine. The wine then ages for 6 months in barrique, acquiring complexity and depth, and is then refined for a further 2 months in bottle before being released. Flavia Rebellious Taillè is a versatile wine, ideal for pairing with red meats and game, enhancing the intense, robust flavors of these dishes. Serve between 14 and 18°C to fully appreciate its sensory characteristics.

Flavia Rebellious

Young and zealous producers, Flavia and Giacomo Rallo represent the fourth generation of the Rallo family from Marsala. Their philosophy is identified in the enhancement of the pure essence of wine and its nature, practicing sustainable, organic, and non-invasive cultivation and production techniques. Honoring the legacy of their ancestor, Flavia and Giacomo want to spread the culture of quality wine by dedicating themselves completely to the production of native Sicilian wines in which they blend past and present. The choice to produce organically is an effective choice for the well-being of each individual but also for the planet, the sustainable choice is a direct vote for the health and hope of future generations. Our main goal is not to achieve high levels of production, but to maintain and increase the levels of organic matter in the soils (organic farming) by reducing or completely eliminating the input of fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides to combat pests (insects, mites etc.) and pathogens (fungi, bacteria, viruses). Our organic production method therefore performs a dual function: to respond to the demand from consumers for healthy and safe wines; on the other hand, to produce natural wines that contribute to the protection of the environment, the well-being of animals and rural development.
