Principi di Butera

Principi di Butera is located in Sicily, in the province of Caltanissetta, in the territory of the DOC "Riesi": the home of the great indigenous wines of Sicily and the chosen land of Nero d'Avola. This area, known for the production of large and prestigious red wines, is characterized by a warm and arid climate that optimizes the development and perfect ripening of the grapes, by the sea breeze that infuses its beneficial influence on the vineyards and finally by the warm and strong light, typical of the southern area of the island. This territory, dedicated to the production of wine, produces prestigious wines, appreciated all over the world, that continue to receive coveted awards and authoritative recognitions that sanction the value of the wine culture they express. Principi di Butera pays great attention to the protection of biodiversity, particularly rich in this area, and has developed its own sustainable approach both in the fight against pests and in the management of water resources.
