Description

Taschetta Naìti Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC is a Sicilian red wine made with 100% Nero d'Avola grapes from the Butera area. This wine embodies the essence of Sicilian winemaking tradition, with an alcohol content of 14%. The grapes, grown on medium-textured limestone soil, are destemmed and crushed and left to macerate on their skins for 15 days at a fermentation temperature of 28°C. During this period, pumping over and punching down are performed in the open air every 8 hours to ensure perfect extraction of aromatic compounds and tannins. Malolactic fermentation takes place partly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and partly in French oak barriques for a period of 6 months. The wine is then aged in bottle for an additional 3 months. Taschetta Naìti is an artisanal wine that pairs perfectly with red meats, game, and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature varies between 14 and 18°C, allowing you to fully appreciate its organoleptic characteristics.

Taschetta

Taschetta is a world made of love and expertise matured over many years of agricultural and professional activity, led today by Luisa Taschetta, thanks to whom the family business has evolved from a simple farm to a catalyst of values, traditions and expressions of a land rich in resources such as Sicily.

The vineyards are located in the Buterese countryside at 300 m s.l.m., a territory with climatic and pedological characteristics capable of giving the wines an extraordinary structure and quality. Naìti D.O.C. is a trilogy of pure wines of extraordinary personality that offer unparalleled notes of freshness, elegance and delight. The philosophy of the winery aims to converge in a single vision: past, present and future, giving the wines a personality and a quality capable of telling the story of the territory.
