Description
Losi Vigne Migranti
The "Losi - Vigne Migranti" project was born from the passion tied to the family roots of the three Landa brothers, Leonardo and Luca, passed down by their father Dr Luigi, originally from the Tuscan Val d'Arno, but adopted by Sicily. From a young age, the family would participate in the grape harvests and the occasions that marked the work times of the vineyards, thus over the years a great passion for the wine sector was formed, enough to transform it into a reality. The founder Luigi Losi started about 30 years ago, planting San Giovese as a Tuscan origin grape and Nero d'Avola as a native Sicilian grape. The first vineyards, San Giovese and Nero d'Avola are located in Pozzallo, 500 meters from the sea. The second site dedicated to Nero d'Avola, Pinot Bianco and Carricante is located in e.da Sichilli, near Noto. The third site, instead, planted with Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Grillo and Vermentino, is located in C.da Buonivini always in the Noto area. The brand synthesizes and represents a hybrid form halfway between the 'buchetta' typical of the popular Tuscan wine tradition and the classic forms of Sicilian sacred architecture. This is because the winery was born as the idea and passion of a visionary man in Tuscany, to be transplanted in Sicily, between Noto and Marzamemi and passed down to his children.
