Description

The Nicosia Lenza di Munti Etna Rosato is a Sicilian wine of great elegance and freshness. This Etna Rosato DOC is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, grown on the southeastern slope of Mount Etna in Sicily. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this rosé wine stands out for its volcanic character, which gives it a unique minerality. The vinification process involves 24 hours of cold maceration on the skins, followed by gentle pressing. After 48 hours of static decantation, the must ferments for approximately 20-25 days at a controlled temperature (15-18°C) in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for approximately 2 months in bottle before being released. The Nicosia Lenza di Munti Etna Rosato is a versatile wine, perfect for pairing with a wide range of dishes. It pairs beautifully with cured meats, roast white meats, shellfish risotto, tuna tartare, swordfish alla ghiotta, and many other tasty seafood dishes. It is ideal served with appetizers, fish, shellfish, white meats, and cured meats. The recommended serving temperature is 10-12°C (50-54°F) to best enhance its sensory characteristics. This wine represents a pinnacle of Sicilian viticulture, perfectly expressing Etna's unique terroir.
