For six generations, the Murana family has been dedicated to the cultivation and winemaking of zibibbo in Pantelleria. The young Salvatore Murana in the 70s was the first in the family to want to create a family brand and export his product and his idea beyond the rocky borders of the island of Pantelleria. Thus begins the story of the farm Salvatore Murana. Just a few years after its debut in the wine market, Salvatore Murana's company receives important recognition and awards thanks to its gold: the passito of Pantelleria. Labels like Creato, Martingana or Mueggen are appreciated and praised all over the world. The principle on which Salvatore Murana's cellar is based is the assimilation of the culture of the territory, respecting nature and maintaining a balanced combination of tradition and innovation. The wines that the company produces are sincere witnesses of the territory of Pantelleria because they are strongly characterized by it.
