Between Sky and Sea, Caravaglio The story of an island and one of its main interpreters Nino Caravaglio, vigneron and islander. The island environment allows for a viticulture - and agriculture - very respectful of nature. The mild climate, the absence of significant pathological problems, the sun and the clean air create favorable conditions for the reduction of any treatment. Starting from this situation, however, we wanted to do more. We chose to follow an agriculture constantly in harmony with nature and the landscape. The company, to underline this choice, has been organically certified since 1989. Those were years when the current certification system did not exist in Italy. Since 1994 the company Caravaglio is certified by Ecocert, now become Ecogroup. "Beyond certification, producing in full respect of the earth is for us an ethical imperative" says Nino Caravaglio.
