Azienda Agricola Siciliano

We are in Castiglione di Sicilia on the north side of Etna at 700 meters above sea level where Rocco Siciliano, a doctor passionate about viticulture, began planting international grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon and indigenous ones like Mascalese and Carricante in 1987. The soil is volcanic with fine grain, temperate climate and strong thermal excursions. Since 2015, he began bottling his wines with the consultancy of Alessandro Viola. All the processes of winemaking are carried out manually, without invasive techniques, only pied de cuve and no controlled temperatures and little sulfur based on the vintages, in some cases it is not added at all.
