"Since I was a child, I have always thought that there is nothing more amazing than observing the force of nature taking its natural course. It takes just a few precautions to turn grape must into wine. From my grandfather to my father and now to me, the passion for cultivating these lands of the Alta Valle dello Jato as conservatively as possible has been passed down. Adriano: A passionate winemaker, in 2018 he founded the FEOTTO Winery by Adriano Todaro which is located in San Giuseppe Jato (PA), in the Alta Valle dello Jato (Sicily). A historic company in the area, which has been passed down from father to son for several generations. We are located in the municipality of San Giuseppe Jato which is located at the foot of Mount Jato (852 m), on the left side of the same valley. The Jato valley is west-facing and is wide and soft with clay soils intensely cultivated with cereals and vineyards. Precisely in the district of Feotto are our vineyards that extend over 3.5 hectares among the first vineyards in Sicily cultivated organically and with biodynamic practices since 2019. The vines of FEOTTO (all between 35 and 40 years old) are divided into small plots: Nero d'Avola, Perricone, Catarratto, Grillo, Cabernet Franc, Syrah.
