Azienda Agricola Sofia

The story of Azienda Agricola Sofia begins in a small vineyard located in Solicchiata, on the northern slope of Etna. It is here that Gioacchino Sofia, with great dedication and passion, commits himself to cultivating the land, gradually expanding the family business through the acquisition of new lands. Thanks to the contribution of his children Carmelo and Valentina, experts in the wine sector, the company's wine production further develops, surpassing the boundaries of the local market. This also happens thanks to the increased interest in wines from the Etna area. The soil rich in volcanic composition and the use of low environmental impact organic methods give the wines of Azienda Agricola Sofia unique characteristics. They stand out for their freshness, minerality and power, the result of a perfect combination of volcanic territory and sustainable cultivation practices adopted by the company.
