Luna Su Marte Sicilia DOC is a Sicilian rosé wine with a good structure and pleasant acidity, made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in Marsala. This rosé wine embodies the essence of Sicily, with an alcohol content of 13%. The sub-alkaline clay-loam soils lend the wine minerality and savory character, which is reflected in its aromatic and flavor profile. The grapes, stored in a cool environment, undergo cold maceration in the press for 3-4 hours at 7-8°C, acquiring its characteristic salmon-pink color. After static decantation, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine ages for five months in tanks and two months in bottle before release. Luna Su Marte Syrah pairs well with fish-based dishes, such as sushi and shellfish, but also with the delicacy of a beef tartare. A wine that enhances every culinary moment with class and freshness, best served at 8-10°C. It features a salmon pink color with cherry highlights typical of Syrah rosés. On the nose, it opens with elegant floral notes, which blend harmoniously with the fruity scent of wild strawberries, creating a lively and pleasant aromatic bouquet. On the palate, this wine captivates with its enveloping fragrance and the finesse of its aromas, which express themselves in a perfect balance between freshness and softness.
