Description

Fiore Ballerina Rosato Terre Siciliane PGI is a Sicilian wine made from 100% Frappato grapes grown in the Butera area. This rosé wine, hailing from beautiful Sicily, Italy, has an alcohol content of 13%. It is an organic and artisanal wine, produced with great care and respect for the environment. The vines grow on calcareous soil, which gives the wine a distinctive minerality. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, a process that enhances the unique characteristics of the terroir. After fermentation, the wine ages in stainless steel for 6 months, maintaining its freshness and vivacity. Fiore Ballerina Rosato is perfect for an aperitif on the beach, perhaps accompanied by shellfish and crustaceans aboard a sailboat. It is also ideal for a picnic of bruschetta, cherry tomatoes, and cheeses under an olive tree, or to end an evening with pizza and friends. It pairs beautifully with appetizers, shellfish, crustaceans, vegetables, and cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is between 10 and 12°C. The winery that produces Fiore Ballerina Rosato is a member of FIVI , the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers, thus guaranteeing a constant commitment to the production of high-quality wines and respect for local winemaking traditions.

Fiore

Our vineyard, our soil, our climate, and our hands offer unique performances. This is what our wines are made of. Here in the Ficuzza district, a family atmosphere pervades everything, felt among the vineyards, in the cellar, and in the love for work in the fields and for the territory. Located in the Nisseno hinterland, 300 meters above sea level, in the countryside of Butera, in Sicily, a land suited for viticulture. The vines are all around the manor house and the cellar, on limestone soils. All the local native varieties are grown, such as white grape, Inzolia, Catarratto, and Zibibbo, then Nero d'Avola, Frappato, Nerello Cappuccio, and Merlot. The wines produced, all with an excellent balance between quality and price, are named after the areas where the vines are grown. Ballerina Rosso is a Nero d'Avola and Ballerina Bianco, Catarratto and Inzolia, which has received the recognition of "Everyday Wine" from Slow Wine 2020, as well as being highly appreciated by consumers in Italy and abroad.
