Description

Marchese delle Saline Taissè Catarratto Terre Siciliane PGI is a highly prized Sicilian white wine, produced exclusively with 100% Catarratto grapes. Hailing from the renowned Marsala region, this wine embodies the essence of Sicilian winemaking tradition. With an alcohol content of 13%, Taissè Catarratto stands out for its fresh and lively character. The grapes are grown on calcareous soils, which give the wine a unique and distinctive minerality. Vinification involves soft pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation in stainless steel for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. After fermentation, the wine ages for 60 days in the bottle, further refining its aromatic and flavor profile. The result is a brilliant straw yellow wine with greenish highlights. On the nose, Taissè Catarratto offers a complex and refined bouquet, with notes of citrus, white flowers, and light herbaceous nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with good acidity and a lingering, pleasantly mineral finish. This wine is the ideal accompaniment to fish and shellfish dishes, enhancing their delicate and refined flavors. Serve at 8-10°C to fully appreciate its sensory characteristics. Marchese delle Saline Taissè Catarratto Terre Siciliane PGI is a wine that embodies the passion and dedication of Sicilian winemakers, offering a unique and unforgettable sensory experience. Perfect for those wishing to discover Sicily's winemaking treasures, this wine is an excellent choice for any occasion, be it an elegant dinner or a relaxing moment in good company.

Tradition and respect for nature since 1860 "We produce organic wines with respect for nature, to safeguard our land and offer you unique wines. We bring the tradition, the smells and the flavors of our island into our bottles" Today the Rallo family, interpreting the values of its founder, spreads the culture of good wine and quality products from its territory. The passion for work, the excellent intuition and the commitment have led to the expansion of the first sales. The goal was to create unique wines that are an expression of the identity of a territory rich in traditions, flavors and scents.
