Tenute di Aglaea Lucifer Terre Siciliane IGP is a Sicilian white wine that embodies the essence of the volcanic territory of Mount Etna, on the northern slope. This wine is a blend of native Sicilian grapes: Carricante , Catarratto , Inzolia , Grecanico , and Minnella . Its alcohol content is 13%, providing a perfect balance between freshness and structure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, ensuring the preservation of the grapes' primary aromas. The wine then ages in stainless steel, with 20% aged in French barriques for approximately 2 months before being reassembled with the rest of the blend. This process gives the wine aromatic complexity and a subtle hint of vanilla. The wine has a bright straw yellow color and offers aromas of citrus, white flowers, and a light volcanic minerality on the nose. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and well-balanced, with a pleasant finish. Tenute di Aglaea Lucifer is a wine that pairs perfectly with light vegetable dishes, such as asparagus, and various pasta dishes with fish, especially raw fish, mussels, and shellfish. It's also ideal with seafood. The recommended serving temperature is between 8 and 10°C, to best enhance its organoleptic characteristics. The winery is a member of FIVI , the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers, guaranteeing its commitment to product quality and authenticity.
