Only after this process do Catarratto and Chardonnay combine to create the Bianco di Ludovico blend. The wine ages on the lees for 6 months, with twice-weekly batonnage. Half of the wine then ages in French oak tonneaux and the other half in stainless steel for an additional 6 months. Once reunited, the two components spend another 6 months in stainless steel sur lies and at least 4 months in bottle. The result is a wine that pairs perfectly with Mediterranean seafood dishes, especially couscous. It also pairs well with shellfish and aged cheeses. The ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 10°C. Tenute Orestiadi Bianco di Ludovico Sicilia DOC Riserva is a Sicilian white wine of great elegance and complexity. From here begins the story of the Tenute Orestiadi, born in 2008 in the heart of the Belìce Valley, in Gibellina, in Sicily, where Mediterranean scents and colors intertwine with myth and art. Transforming into energy the arduous recovery after a historically and economically complex moment, the earthquake of 1968, the entire area has become a cultural and dialogue hub of the Mediterranean.
