Description

Travaglianti Etna DOC Bianco is a highly prized Sicilian wine, produced with 95% Carricante and 5% Catarratto grapes. This Etna Bianco DOC comes from the southwest slope of Mount Etna, an area renowned for its high-quality viticulture. The wine has an alcohol content of 13.5% and is certified organic. The volcanic soil lends the wine a unique and distinctive minerality. The winemaking process begins with cold decanting of the must overnight, followed by racking and fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures for approximately two weeks. After the first racking, the wine undergoes a brief period of batonnage before filtration and bottling. Aged in bottle for at least four months, allowing the wine to develop complexity and depth. Travaglianti Etna DOC Bianco is ideal with fish and shellfish dishes, enhancing the flavors of the sea with its freshness and vivacity. We recommend serving it at 8-10°C to fully appreciate its sensory characteristics. This wine embodies the essence of Sicilian winemaking tradition, combining the richness of the volcanic terroir with expert winemaking. Perfect for those seeking an elegant and refined white wine, capable of surprising and delighting the palate.
