Punta Aria

The project of Punta Aria was born from the visionary genius of Francangelo Pollastri in the early 2000s, where there were only shrubs, some ruins and a forgotten beach, he saw again the magic of a place that since Roman times was unique for its beauty and the quality of its grapes. One of the great sweet wines, in Sicily it is called "La Malvasia", feminine, and it is a nectar of great delicacy that offers a wonderful richness of scents and sensations. It is indeed thanks to the drying in the sun or in the fruit cellar that the juice contained in the grape berries reaches such a concentration as to give the wine both the alcoholic degree and the sweetness. On the other hand, the very low yield and the production area limited to the Aeolian Islands archipelago, make Malvasia a very rare and precious wine.
