Description

Alcesti Narkè dei Poeti Sicilia DOC is a Sicilian red wine blending Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the renowned Marsala area. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, this wine stands out for its bold and complex character. It is an organic and vegan-friendly product, grown on medium-textured sandy clay soils. The grapes are destemmed and the skins macerated in temperature-controlled fermentation tanks for 10 days at a temperature between 26 and 28°C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by aging in barriques and tonneaux for approximately one year. The wine completes its evolution in the bottle for approximately six months, giving the final product a harmonious and well-balanced structure. Alcesti Narkè dei Poeti is ideal with stews, braised meats, game, red meats, and venison, enhancing the flavors of dishes with its aromatic richness. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 14 and 18°C to fully appreciate its organoleptic qualities. This wine represents the excellence of the Sicilian winemaking tradition, combining modern techniques and respect for the environment, offering a unique and refined tasting experience.

Alcesti

We love our land, our origins, our roots. We have taken on the responsibility of communicating moments of Sicilian identity through our wines. Every harvest has always told a story of emotions. Each year is different, good or less good. Our goal is to narrate, interpret and enhance, year after year, the peculiarities of a territory, of a few hectares, of a bunch. Within the most vineyard-covered expanse of Italy, the roots of our plants live. They feed on the Sicilian sun and our attention through the hard work in the vineyard. 30ha in the territory that extends between Marsala, Mazara and Salemi. Variable altitude between 100 and 280 m s.l.m. Vineyards inherited from our fathers, which express the typical Sicilian terroir. The winery is the fruit of our family's dream. It reflects our hospitality, our desire to innovate and respect for the environment. It is the place where we daily seek excellence.
