Description
Firriato
The terroir is the intimate vocation of a land for a particular type of viticulture. In Sicily, it takes on the colors of a kaleidoscopic carousel: even a few kilometers apart, the same grape takes on unrepeatable characteristics. Hill Viticulture Enhancing the biodiversity of historical vineyards, a choice that allows us to receive only the true grapes from the land, traceable in the organoleptic values of the wines from the five estates of the Agro of Trapani: Baglio Sorìa, Borgo Guarini, Dàgala Borromeo, Pianoro Cuddìa and Giudeo. The challenge of mountain viticulture has allowed us to discover the exceptional enological and productive value of Etna, where the vine, on the young soils of the latest lava flow, has found the ideal home to produce grapes of extraordinary uniqueness. In Favignana, the sea plays a primary role in the development of grapes and the wine that is born from them. Through extraordinary processes such as sea aerosol, the wines bring salinity and minerality as a dowry. Niche production ensures the authentic expressions of the terroir.
