This Etna Rosato DOC is made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, sourced from the northern slopes of Etna, one of Sicily's most renowned wine-growing areas. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this rosé wine stands out for its volcanic character, which gives it a unique minerality and unmistakable freshness. Fermentation is spontaneous, driven by yeasts naturally present on the grapes, and takes place in wooden containers, where the wine rests for 3 months before being transferred to stainless steel tanks to complete its aging. The result is a pale pink wine with delicate aromas of red fruits, flowers, and mineral notes. On the palate, Sciauro Etna Rosato offers pleasant acidity, a balanced structure, and a lingering finish. This wine pairs excellently with cured meats, roast white meats, shellfish risotto, tuna tartare, swordfish alla ghiotta, and many other tasty seafood dishes. It's ideal with appetizers, fish, shellfish, white meats, and cured meats. To fully appreciate its qualities, serve it at 10-12°C. Emiliano Falsini

Growing a vineyard and producing wine is an act of love and passion that I have chosen to carry out in different territories due to their pedoclimatic characteristics and viticultural history, but very close in their qualitative vocation, territories capable of producing great wines with a strong personality and able to offer unique emotions. I have chosen to produce artisanal wines with a strong territorial expression because I believe it is something due and a gesture of respect towards those to whom this work is directed. My desire is to see wine from different points of view and for this reason I want to produce wines in the most authentic way possible, with very few oenological interventions and with the utmost respect for the environment and the territory. Currently, I produce wines by cultivating Nerello Mascalese vineyards on the North side of Etna in Contrada Feudo Pignatone and Cabernet Franc vineyards in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci in the Debbiacci Le Sondraie area. I have chosen to produce wine in very different territories due to their pedoclimatic characteristics and viticultural history but united by their qualitative vocation. Territories capable of producing great wines with a strong personality and able to best represent the quality Italian wine.
