Tenuta Valle delle Ferle Murgentia Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT is a Sicilian wine that represents the region's winemaking excellence. Made from 50% Nero d'Avola and 50% Frappato , this white wine hails from the Caltagirone area of Sicily, Italy. With an alcohol content of 13%, it is an organic wine that respects the environment and the local winemaking tradition. The soil in which the vines grow is predominantly sandy, with medium-textured clay and a rich gravel composition, characteristics that give the wine a unique complexity. The wine is vinified off the skins in temperature-controlled steel vats, and then aged in steel for 6 months. This process guarantees the freshness and purity of the final product. Mergentia Bianco pairs perfectly with seafood and meat appetizers, fish-based first courses, and fresh cheeses. It is ideal with fish and white meat dishes and should be served at 8-10°C. The Tenuta Valle delle Ferle winery adheres to FIVI regulations, demonstrating its commitment to quality and sustainability.

Tenuta Valle delle Ferle

Just a few kilometers from Caltagirone, fifty-year-old vineyards of Nero d'Avola and Frappato extend for about 10 hectares within the DOCG zone "Cerasuolo di Vittoria". The age of the vines constitutes an important distinctive element, thanks to their greater ability to express the characteristics of the territory, a value that adds to the environmental qualities, given by the pedoclimatic characteristics of the territory, ideal for vine cultivation. In 2016, Claudia Sciacca and Andrea Annino embarked on their exciting project, consistently investing resources and passion to create wines that can combine the natural winemaking tradition of the places, respect for the earth and its balance, the originality of the native grape varieties grown organically, elegance and harmony.
