Description

Pellegrino Finimondo Terre Siciliane IGT is a red wine made from native red grapes from Western Sicily. This Sicilian wine, with an alcohol content of 14%, is an authentic expression of the terroir. The vines grow on naturally silty clay soil, which contributes to the wine's complexity. Grape dehydration is achieved through the technique of pruning the shoots, enhancing the aromatic fragrances of the ripe skins. Vinification involves expert maceration and a long, temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by aging for four months in wood. This process gives the wine a balanced structure and a rich, complex aromatic bouquet. Pellegrino Finimondo is ideal as an aperitif, served at 12°-14°C. It pairs perfectly with a platter of cured meats and cheeses, and is also wonderful with smoked tuna. It's also an excellent choice with red-crust pizza topped with seafood or cured meats. Cured meats, semi-mature cheeses, and seafood are ideal pairings to enhance the characteristics of this wine. The recommended serving temperature varies between 14° and 18°C, depending on the chosen pairing. This wine represents a sensory journey through the flavors and aromas of Sicily, offering a unique and unforgettable tasting experience.

Pellegrino

We cultivate our grapes in four privately owned estates with specific vocations, all managed with organic farming methods in full respect of the environment. We are committed to safeguarding the territory in which we operate, cultivating the grapes in our estates exclusively with organic methods, in full respect of the environment. Green choices also apply to all areas of production, from lighting to logistics, from waste management to the use of water resources, to the containment of all forms of environmental pollution. A busy rhythm marks the life of a land and its people, elevating nobility of spirit and perpetuating ancient farming traditions. It is the rhythm that enlivens the hours, the days, the months and the years in Marsala, in the westernmost part of the island, the stage for stories of farmers, women and men, immersed in the laborious work of the land.
