Description

Angelo di Grazia Contatto Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT is a Sicilian wine distinguished by its unique blend: 70% Recuno / Cutrera / Rucignola and 30% Carricante Licodia Eubea. This macerated white wine hails from the Sicily region of Italy. The grapes are grown in a complex soil composed of palagonite and calcarenite, and are harvested by hand in the second ten days of September. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately destemmed and left to macerate for approximately 48 hours in a vat, after which they are gently pressed and spontaneously vinified in a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature. Once alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to another stainless steel tank and stabilized naturally throughout the winter outside the cellar. The wine is bottled without the need for fining or final filtration. Angelo di Grazia Contatto Bianco is an organic wine, ideal for pairing with white meats, vegetables, and semi-mature cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is 10/12 °C.

Angelo Di Grazia

This project was born from the desire, matured over the years, and the perseverance of Angelo Di Grazia, to enhance an unexplored territory, highlighting its pedoclimatic characteristics and viticultural and oenological potential, relying on organic and sustainable viticulture and spontaneous and natural winemaking. We are in Licodia Eubea, on the north-western slope of the Iblei Mountains, a small village nestled on two hills, that of the Medieval Castle and that of Monte Altore (extinct volcanic cone), included in the ancient region of Val di Noto. On a slope of Monte Altore, at about 630 m above sea level, our bush vineyard finds its space. It is a return to the origins, after so much wandering, because Angelo has always strongly believed, that the heart knows exactly where you have been happy and it is there that, in one way or another, it always brings us back. After all, home is where you left your heart.
