Description

Frank Cornelissen Munjebel Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT is a Sicilian white wine that embodies the essence of Etna's volcanic terroir, specifically its northern slope. Made from 60% Grecanico and 40% Catarratto grapes, this wine represents a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. With an alcohol content of 11.5%, it is a handcrafted and vegan-friendly wine, ideal for those seeking an authentic and environmentally friendly product. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in fiberglass tanks using indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration on the skins for four days, giving the wine a unique structure and complexity. The wine then ages for 18 months in fiberglass tanks, allowing the flavors to develop and harmonize. The result is a wine with a volcanic character, with mineral notes that reflect Etna's terroir. Perfect for pairing with fish, shellfish, molluscs, and seafood, it is best served at 8-10°C to fully appreciate its aromatic and flavorful nuances. Frank Cornelissen Munjebel Bianco Terre Siciliane IGT is a sensory experience that transports the taster to the heart of Sicily, among the vineyards that grow on the slopes of the volcano.

Frank Cornelissen

Our agricultural philosophy is based on the principle that man is incapable of understanding Nature in its entirety, its complexity, and its interactions. We have chosen to observe in order to learn from the various energetic and cosmic changes of Mother Nature because we prefer to follow the indications that she gives us rather than deciding ourselves what to do and not to do. Consequently, this choice has led us to avoid, where possible, plowing the land and any other type of chemical, traditional, organic or biodynamic treatment. Accepting and following nature is our guideline, since the divine ability to understand the 'All' has not been clearly given to man, as we are only a part of this complexity and not God himself.
